London rally: ‘British troops
out of Afghanistan!’
Militant/Alex Xezonakis

LONDON, July 13—One hundred and fifty people protested outside Downing Street today demanding the immediate withdrawal of British troops from Afghanistan. The demonstration was called by the Stop the War Coalition in response to the new offensive by imperialist troops in Helmand Province. As of today, 15 British troops have been killed in Afghanistan in July alone. The overall total of 184 dead now surpasses the number of British troops killed in Iraq. British prime minister Gordon Brown warned that people should be braced for more losses, reported the Telegraph.
