This week we introduce a search engine that can search articles on this web site. It still has some rough edges that will be worked on soon, but it's a start. 
 
We also added a "front page (of this issue)" link, so that readers can quickly get to it with less effort. The "home" link is unchanged, which means it will take you to the front page of the latest issue. 
 
Photos will be included more often (especially if the article is described as a "photo box"!). 
 
We are working on making this site more useful and attractive, with some trial and error. For example, the articles with the gray bar on the right had to be changed back to the previous style because of usability problems with Netscape.  
 
Please keep letting us know what works and what doesn't, and what changes you would like to see.
